Ah, It’s the end of May. Classes are wrapping up, graduation is upon us, and all seems to be right in the world. Nothing feels better than receiving that high school diploma. You know you deserve it. College seems light years away and not worth worrying about at the moment. First is graduation
Graduation is an amazing feeling. You’re in your cap and gown, feeling all whimsical and smart. Nothing can stop you from making your mark on the world.

Next up, graduation parties. The time when you get all sentimental and reminisce with your friends about your early high school days. Once again, no worry of college.

Finally, the graduation parties come to an end. It’s mid-June, and you notice everyone hanging out on social media. Senior trips, concerts, etc. You decide to take part in the festivities. After all, college is still a couple months away.

You wake up one morning and check your calendar. Oh… It’s July?!?!

You suddenly remember all those emails you’ve ignored from your college. It can’t be that bad right? You see words like “Urgent” and “Important”. You know it’s time to get yourself together.

You’ve filled out the forms, completed the surveys, purchased the dorm supplies, etc. Now all you need to do is pack. Shouldn’t be too difficult, right?

The next think you know, you only have a week left at home before school starts. You’re filled with mixed emotions.

The moment you’ve been waiting for! The very first week of school. Excitement is in the air, and you’re ready to step onto campus.

I hope these next four years help me to learn more about myself and grow as an individual.

This article was just my own comedic interpretation of what this most recent summer has been like. I hope you enjoyed this blog post!
